QUIRK : DISPLACEMENT
A visual representation
Quirk: Displacement | If you can't see it, are you truly certain it isn't there? This user has the ability to change the position, trajectory, speed and direction of anything that is unseen by the human eye. The targeted object or entity can anything as long it exists within the vicinity of the user and is outside the eyesight of anyone nearby. This user is also able to displace living targets for as long they don't have sight nor have anyone sighting them, this includes the user themselves. This allows the ability to be used for transport or for combat maneuvers. This quirk have been used in many ways, such as dropping or throwing heavy objects at enemies from unseen angles, turning anything into a form of projectile, or even making the user's punches and kicks more lethal by increasing it's speed before it is seen. The target will keep it's speed if it is seen afterwards but will lose the momentum shortly after. The ability can also be used defensively as well, the cloak is actually used for this purpose by quickly hiding incoming projectiles before contact, and is able to send back the projectiles from said cloak or elsewhere on an unseen angle.Despite this being an extremely powerful and complex quirk, there are several weaknesses that so far been noted. The user have difficulty using this ability in crowded areas due to the increased amount of eyes around, leaving less unseen areas to be used. Cameras are also large disadvantage for the user.Several advantages usually involves with the environment, such as darkness, fog or smoke, plenty of walls and objects creating unseen spots behind them, and overall anything that hinders ones vision or view. This user have been reported in having other abilities strangely enough, but it is yet confirmed whether it is done by it's own doing or by the doing of some other user.
About : phantom
Phantom, real name unknown, later nicknamed Mono, is a mysterious humanoid entity that had been mentioned several times by witnesses online and then later reported in real life, which later circulated into becoming an urban legend. The very first mention of this character was brought up in an online post made by an anonymous user, who stated that he came in contact with this cloaked figure while he and his co-worker were being mugged. Supposedly the cloaked individual "Appeared out of nowhere several times", where it had beaten the mugger in places where and when no one were looking. Quoting from the post directly,"The moment we blinked, looked away or tried to look for him, it'd be in another spot, just kicking the guy before he could even figure out where it came from."Once knocked out conscious, the unknown individual disappeared moments later, with one of the witnesses noting they later saw it on top of a building, getting there in an unbelievable short amount of time without them seeing, and soon had disappeared from there as well. Multiple witnesses have came out to speak about their own experiences about the mysterious being shortly after the post was made.Their description of the character appeared to be relatively consistent, tall, cloaked and with a face that looked as if it was masked. It has two tall "Horns" "Antennas" or "Ears" coming out of his cloaked head, however the description of them are usually inconsistent. It's "Teleportation" ability did seemed rather inconsistent as well, as many other posters stated they have more than just a teleportation quirk, some even mentioned the character is able to transform, even though it would go against what appears to be it's most common quirk and ability. This brought up the theory this figure had more than one quirk, but this usually was disregarded rather quickly due to it being extremely rare to bare two abilities at once. However reports of the character doing more than just their usual "sudden teleportation" tactic pouring in, which continued to bring in further theories and interest. For most part however, the entity wasn't taken as real at the time by many, and government officials often referred to this situation as an "Internet-made hoax". But this later changed in a recent event that was captured in television, during a bank robbery that included criminals keeping hostages inside, keeping heroes and police from intervening immediately. The heist's leader been forcing demands by threatening to shoot the youngest of the hostages first, starting with a twelve year old boy who came with his mother prior to the robbery. Before negotiations could be done or the preparation of a special hero unit could being formed, the same cloaked individual yet again appeared out of nowhere, knocking out many of the armed. The criminals who had projectile-type quirks later found themselves being countered by their own attacks from unseen angles, and the constant disappearance of the cloaked entity made it difficult for them to harm them. During this sudden fight, many of the abilities the cloaked figure had were revealed, including them transforming body parts and seemingly using the enemy's own quirks against them. However the mysterious fighter kept their fight indoors, as it appeared to have difficulty fighting in open public.Near the end of the battle, the fight finally was brought outside between the heist's leader and the phantom. Their sudden disappearances stopped during this time, but they continued to transform and fought one another, later resulting the entity winning the fight. Police who were unfamiliar with this "sudden hero" asked them to hand over the villains. However, whilst all the minions were simply left unconscious by them, the phantom decided to stab the unconscious leader, ending his life. This was the only casualty within the incident. In response to this breaking of the law, police demanded the unknown quirk user to raise their hands, to which they hadn't comply nor responded, in an attempt of them turning around to leave, the police fired their rounds. However, all of the bullets that went into the cloak quickly disappeared, and would soon return from unseen angles, firing back at the police whilst causing a panic, which then distracted the public and within moments later, the unknown quirk user disappeared. This finally brought the attention of everyone, from the conspiracy theorists of the internet to official government investigators. The cloaked individual left behind many questions unanswered, with mysteries left to solve. How did they manage to do several different abilities? Why did they left the minions alive but not the leader? Why do they clash against both Villains and Justice? What are they? Who are they? This soon opened up one large case for the government to handle, whilst a new powerful recruit for villains to capture. But at this point there's one big question both sides want answers for, what are their motives?
Mystery Solved? (Spoilers)
Phantom, or "Mono" as a certain little child calls them, is actually nothing more but a figment of ones imagination : in a literal sense.A young girl only known by the name "Flora" have a quirk that she names "Imagination", a powerful ability that lets her bring her most wildest thoughts into existence. Phantom is one of these imaginative creations. However "Mono" actually stands out from the rest of her creations, as Flora will become tired and eventually sleepy if she were to imagine a complex being with it's own thoughts and feelings, which is what Phantom appears to be. Despite this however, Mono's existence is the only thing that doesn't drain Flora's energy. According to her it is because there's more powering Mono than just her brain : there is also the heart.Mono was originally created as a comfort character for Flora, who lived in neglect from her mother and abuse from her father, along with an elder brother who had his own problems. During these harsh times, Mono was first imagined to be her only friend. But as time went on and her love for Mono grew, they slowly formed an identity of their own, desires of their own, and thoughts of their own. Keeping Mono around became less tiring for Flora as time went on.Unfortunately, due to an incident involving her drunk father, Flora had awoken without a family nor any memories of during and before the event, she didn't even had a memory of her name. Yet somehow, she was able to remember Mono, who became independent enough to look after her.Mono became a sort of a parental figure for Flora, looking after her needs whilst not having much knowledge of the world outside her mind. Laws, society, future and past, it all mattered very little for Mono. What did matter to them was finding a happy ending for Flora. This has been proven difficult however due to Mono's mistrust of the world, for they only had the perspective of Flora and the world she grew up in. Though who knows, perhaps this can change.
